Ceist:211 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education the national schools in counties Leitrim and Sligo which will lose teachers in September 1997 owing to falling numbers. [9724/97]

Final decisions have not yet been made regarding the staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year. Accordingly, it is not possible at this stage to determine the schools in which posts will be suppressed due to declining enrolments.
It is anticipated that final decisions will be made shortly.
