Vol. 491 No. 6

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Ruairí Quinn

Ceist:

252 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review and grant a visa application for permission to study in Ireland to a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13016/98]

Applicants for student visas must have paid their course fees in full prior to making an application. This was not the case in the application to which the Deputy refers and it was refused as a result. It is open to the applicant to either appeal or apply again with this factor in mind.
