Ceist:

320 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have all the 1997 leaving certificate honour geography scripts for a school (details supplied) in County Tipperary rechecked in view of the fact that, out of 14 candidates from that school who had their scripts rechecked, 12 were upgraded; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The position is that the Ombudsman requested and has been provided with information from my Department in relation to the case referred to by the Deputy. The outcome of the Ombudsman's consideration of the matter is awaited.
