211 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if a submission from Westmeath County Council seeking funding for the upgrading, refurbishment and renewal of a housing estate (details supplied) in County Westmeath has been received by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the replies to Question No. 164 of 10 November 1999, Question No. 94 of 16 December 1999 and Question No. 537 of 26 January 2000.

Revised proposals were received from the council on 22 February 2000 in respect of this estate and are under examination. The council will be advised of the position as soon as possible.
