263 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the legislation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under his departmental control; when he will publish any such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The question of use of public private partnerships in the health sector is being examined in my Department. In that context, the issue of whether, and to what extent, legislation is needed to empower health agencies to enter into such arrangements is being investigated.
