292 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals he has to substantially reduce the in-patient waiting list for the epilepsy monitoring unit, St. Brigid's ward, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27713/00]
The responsibility for the provision of services at Beaumont Hospital is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
