177 Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for Education and Skills the financial supports available from him for persons seeking to establish English language schools here; if there are any structures in place which would facilitate contact with language schools in the Middle East; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Fáilte Ireland is responsible for the marketing and promotion of English language schools which are recognised under the Accreditation and Co-ordination of English Language Services (ACELS) function of the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland.
