306 Deputy Michael McCarthy asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the reason a person (details supplied) was refused a work permit; the circumstances in which this person would be eligible for a permit; the options open to them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department processes applications in respect of the different types of employment permits and all applications are processed in line with the Employment Permits Act 2006.
I wish to advise the Deputy that, following completion of the appeals process, a Spousal/Dependant Permit has now issued in this case.
