351. Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Education the status of a project for extension and refurbishment to cater for a long-term projected enrolment of 1,000 pupils at a school (details supplied); when the project will commence; when it will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The major building project for the school referred to by the Deputy recently completed Stage 2(b) Detailed Design and was authorised to proceed to tender stage on 27th October. A Tender stage normally takes between 6-8 months to complete. The project is expected to commence on site in Quarter 2 of 2022.
