Ceisteanna (12)

Ruairí Ó Murchú

Ceist:

12. Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Transport if he will consider giving updated guidelines to driving test centres operated by the Road Safety Authority in order that instructors can use bathroom facilities at the centres once they are able to prove their vaccination status and adhere to Covid-19 guidelines; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under legislation, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) is the body responsible for the operation of the Driving Test Service.

This is an operational matter for the RSA and I do not have any role in this process. This question is therefore being referred to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.

A referred reply was forwarded to the Deputy under Standing Order 51
