Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if it is a legal requirement for all childcare providers to register with Tusla in advance to opening their doors for business; and if it is legal requirement for Tusla to carry out a health and safety inspection of the premises prior to opening.
