Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Health the number of contracts his Department is currently a party to involving a company (details supplied); the combined costs of such contracts; if not available, the estimated combined costs of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Health is currently not a party to any contracts involving BAM Construction.
However, the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board, which is a body under the aegis of the Department of Health, has statutory responsibility for planning, designing, building and equipping the new children's hospital (NCH) and is a party to a contract with BAM for its construction. I have therefore referred your question to the NPHDB for direct reply.
