215. Deputy Michael McNamara asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will expedite an application for an invalidity pension for a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [35030/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 28 April 2022. Payment will issue to his nominated bank account on 14 July 2022. Any arrears due from 28 April 2022 to 13 July 2022 will issue in due course. The person in question was notified of this decision on 28 June 2022.
I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
