829. Deputy Jennifer Whitmore asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the number of wild birds with avian flu that have been notified to his Department to date in 2022; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41789/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has responsibly for avian influenza testing in Ireland. Table 1 below sets out the number of positive cases recorded by that Department in 2022 (up to 20 July 2022) and notified to my Department.
