Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Health the current status of the atropine 0.01% eye drops, under trial since prior to 2021; to confirm if the trial will be concluded in January 2024, as outlined in a letter to a person (details supplied) from the Head of Pharmacy Function, HSE, as these drops have proven very effective for the daughter of the person; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
