163. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Transport further to Parliamentary Question No. 154 of 23 January 2024, if he can comment on the particulars of the event requested (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9787/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraAirNav Ireland are the State agency responsible for managing air traffic in Irish airspace. Having consulted with them, they have informed me that while they would not have data relating to the altitude of a flight such as that mentioned in the Deputy's question, they may be able to retrieve data related to the flight path/trajectory of the aircraft from Eurocontrol, the Network Manager for the European area. I have therefore passed the request on to AirNav Ireland to provide such information directly to the Deputy. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
