1693. Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the progress being made into the review of the provision of services to students with disabilities at further and higher education centres; the areas that are being reviewed; when the review is expected to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have instructed my Department to undertake a review of the demand for, and response to, the provision of personal assistant services to students with disabilities across the Higher Education and Further Education and Training sectors. This work is in its early stages and further information on timelines and the full scope of the review can be provided once it is finalised.
