Dáil Éireann established the following Committees today (8th)
- Public Accounts Committee
- Committee on Communications, Natural Resources and Agriculture
- Committee on Environment, Transport, Culture and the Gaeltacht
- Committee on European Union Affairs
- Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform:
- Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade
- Committee on Health and Children
- Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement
- Committee on Investigations, Oversight and Petitions
- Committee on Jobs, Social Protection and Education
- Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality
- Committee on Members’ Interests of Dáil Éireann
- Committee on Procedure and Privileges:
- Joint Administration Committee
The Dáil will commence appointing Committee members from tomorrow. Chairpersons will be elected at the first meeting of the Committees.
