The Committee on Budgetary Oversight will meet today, Wednesday 6th December for engagement on 2023 Supplementary Estimates with Mr Paschal Donohoe TD, Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform at 5:30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.
Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Barry Cowen TD said “We look forward to discussing Supplementary Estimates this evening with Minister Donohoe.
“The Minister recently received Government approval for proposed supplementary estimates to the value of €4 billion. This brings the total amount of supplementary estimate funding provided in 2023 to €6 billion. The Committee looks forward to engaging with the Minister on these additional expenditures and getting more detail on how they will operate in practice, the costs involved, as well as discussing the rationale for introducing them.”
