The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will meet on Thursday December 7th for a discussion on the UKs Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023.
The meeting will take place in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House between 9:30-12:30.
Representatives from Relatives for Justice and Ó Muirigh Solicitors will appear at the Committee.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Fergus O’Dowd said: “This is a timely opportunity to discuss the Legacy Act with representatives. There is total opposition from all victims’ groups and all political parties north and south of the border to the legislation.”
