asked the Minister for Agriculture when it is proposed to give favourable consideration to the application for an increase in wages submitted by the labouring staff in the Botanic Gardens, Dublin, through their trade union on the 4th July, 1952.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages Increase.
I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to him to-day by the Minister for Finance regarding the application for an increase in wages put forward by the employees of the Office of Public Works in the Phoenix Park and St. Stephen's Green. That reply must be taken as applying to the case of the labouring staff at the Botanic Gardens.
