Ceist:143 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in having tax credits issued to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [16164/03]
Written Answers. - Tax Credits.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that, according to their records, they had not been informed that the taxpayer had commenced employment. A certificate of tax credits has now issued to the taxpayer and his employer. When the tax credits on the certificate are implemented, any tax which the taxpayer overpaid since his employment commenced in February 2003 will be refunded.
