Vol. 526 No. 4

Written Answers. - Public Private Partnerships.

Denis Naughten

Ceist:

229 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the legis lation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under his departmental control; when he will publish any such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26883/00]

Ceist:

230 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if his Department has a public private partnership section; the number of staff allocated to this section; the specific projects being dealt with by this section; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26898/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 229 and 230 together.

The indicative allocation for public private partnerships in the national development plan does not concern measures in the agriculture, food and related rural development areas. My Department does not have a public private partnership section.
