The person concerned was in receipt of disability benefit continuously from October 1973 to 17 November 1979, after which date payment ceased following examination by a medical referee on 7 November 1979 at which he was considered capable of work. He was subsequently examined by a different medical referee when he was again considered capable of work. He appealed against the decision refusing payment of benefit after 17 November 1979.
An oral hearing of his appeal has been arranged for 14 May 1980 and the decision of the appeals officer will be issued to the person concerned shortly after that date.
