My Department sanctioned a grant in July last towards the cost of improvements to the heating installation at this school. I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that the improvement works are in progress and that they are expected to be competed very shortly.

I am satisfied that a second level school for girls in the Darndale area of County Dublin will be required. My Department are at present seeking a suitable site in the area.
