A second level school will be provided in the Lusk area when pupil numbers warrant it. It is not possible at this stage to say when a new school will be required or what accommodation should be provided. The county council have, however, been requested to reserve a site for such a school.

asked the Minister for Education whether the present primary school at Lusk, County Dublin, is regarded as overcrowded; and, if so, the steps it is proposed to take to remedy this situation.
A further extension of eight classrooms to Lusk national school was agreed on the basis of my Department's assessment of enrolments and a grant was sanctioned in April 1979.
I authorised the Commissioners of Public Works in September last to allow the extension to proceed to contract and I understand that the contract should be signed very soon.
