414 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if permission to go to tender for the new technical college in Dungarvan, County Waterford, will not now be given until early 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27709/00]

A decision regarding approval to pro ceed to tender in respect of the Dungarvan project will be made shortly and the outcome will be conveyed to the acting chief executive officer of County Waterford Vocational Education Committee.
