1254. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when he will publish the intended allocations for the new €9.5 million support package from the European Commission; if he will confirm if the Government intends to top up the funding by the 200% allowed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is actively considering how best to utilise the available funding recently allocated by the European Commission for the provision of exceptional support for the agricultural sectors affected by specific problems impacting on the economic viability of agricultural producers.
