Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence if a person in County Meath (details supplied) can be issued with the transcript of his testimony to the Independent Review Group into the Defence Forces; the process for applying for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI would like to thank the Deputy for his question. My Department does not have access to the Independent Review Group's (IRG) records referenced by the Deputy. The management of these of these records in line with the National Archives Act is currently being finalised.
