489. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will consider fast-tracking payments under TAMS III, given the investment made by farmers and their need for payment. [21674/24]
Amharc ar fhreagraA total of over 11,000 approvals have issued in respect of applications submitted under Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 of TAMS 3, which will allow farmers to proceed with their investments.
To date, 785 claims for payment in respect of approved investments have been submitted, and these are currently being assessed. It is anticipated that payments will start to issue in June in respect of applications where there are no issues with the claim.
